- Martini Madness! Witchcraft at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft | Thursday, October 27 – The annual fundraiser, adorned in a WitchCraft theme, helps support HCCC’s mission and offers an evening of artist-made decor and glassware, cocktails, bites, photo ops and tunes by Houston’s own DJ Sun. $175. 7pm to 10pm.
- Spirits of the Bayou Boat Tour at Allen’s Landing | Thursday, October 27 to Saturday, October 29 – Hear some of the lesser-known stories of ghosts, lost souls, and spirits of the bayou as tour guide Andrew Groocock unravels some of the haunted tales and legends of Buffalo Bayou. $40. 6:30pm to 8pm.
- Yappy Hour: Halloween Costume Paw-ty at Bagby Park | Friday, October 28 | FREE – This special Halloween-edition of the pup-friendly Bagby Park series sees plenty of four-legged friends in costumes while you can also shop pet treats and games from local vendors on site. 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
- 2022 Howl-O-Ween Ball at Houston SPCA | Friday, October 28 – The annual fundraiser that helps support Houston SPCA’s mission for helping animals in need puts a Halloween spin on the charity soirée, with an evening of elegant Halloween costumes, an auction, dinner and dancing, performers and more. $400 and up. 6:30pm to midnight.
- Nature Horror Stories: An Adult Halloween Nature Night at Nature Discovery Center | Friday, October 28 – This adults-only after hours event at the Nature Discovery Center sets out on a night hike through the park, with creepy nature stories, games, snacks and adult beverages. $25. 7pm to 9pm.
- Letsdothishouston: Halloween Costume Night Light Bike Ride at 3rd Ward Tours | Friday, October 28 – Kick off the Halloween weekend in your best costume on two wheels, alongside dozens of other riders as you vibe to a curated playlist and take to the streets from 3rd Ward Tours, riding to Houston destinations. $11; $28.50 includes a bike rental. 7pm to 9:30pm.
- Girl on Ghoul: Fangdom at ReBar at ReBar Houston | Friday, October 28 – Lesbians of Color Nation hosts this all-girls celebration and night of music, Halloween costumes and dancing, alongside palm readers, flame throwers and more. Ages 25+ (ages 21 to 24 should be accompanied by 25+). $10 in advance; $15 at the door. 9pm to 2am.
- Classic Halloween at Numbers Nightclub | Friday, October 28 – Enjoy a Classic Numbers night with ’80s tunes spun by DJ Wes Wallace, with cash prizes handed out to the best costumes of the night. Cover charge at the door. 9pm to 2am.
- 4th Annual Haunted Warehouse in Texas City | Friday, October 28 & Saturday, October 29 – The Galveston County Food Bank’s annual fundraiser returns for a fourth year, transforming their warehouse into a unique, family-friendly haunted house to help end hunger in Galveston County. Come by early from 1pm to 5pm to enjoy a free Halloween carnival with vendors, games, and trick-or-treating. Tickets are $10; free for ages 2 and under. 6pm to 10pm.
- Trick or Drink: Houston Halloween Bar Crawl in Midtown | Friday, October 28; Saturday, October 29 & Monday, October 31 – Take part in a 3-day Halloween pub crawl, Trick or Drink, at Midtown bars like The Garden HTX, Leon’s Lounge, Social Beer Garden, and more. Costumes are very recommended. Tickets range from $15 to $45. Times vary.
- Monster Mash Kids K/5K/10K at Karbach Brewing Company | Saturday, October 29 – This Halloween-themed run event sends pavement pounders in-costume through the neighborhood around Karbach in Spring Branch. Things get rolling with the 5K and 10K events, with a Kids K to take place at 9:30am, and post-race celebration throughout the morning. Registration is $50 for the 10K; $40 for the 5K; and $20 for the Kids K. 7:30am.
- Halloween Classic Car Show at National Museum of Funeral History | Saturday, October 29 – The annual Halloween-themed car show returns to the North Houston museum of all thing funerary. Bring your treat bag trunk-to-trunk and check out the spooky decor on a slate of classic and modern vehicles. $10 per person; $15 per couple or family. 10am to 3pm.
- Witchy Brunch at Brennan’s of Houston | Saturday, October 29 – The fine dining Creole institution is getting spooky for a pre-Halloween Witchy Brunch. Guests are invited to wear something witchy and enjoy a three-course menu with favorites including Turtle Soup, Gumbo, Eggs Brennan’s, and more. $45, plus tax and gratuity. 11am to 2pm.
- MusicFest 2022 at Willow Waterhole Greenway | Saturday, October 29 | FREE – In Southwest Houston, the 10th annual MusicFest offers a full day of live music from the worlds of R&B, blues, jazz, rock and Latin salsa; Halloween activities like trunk-or-treating, Halloween photo ops, and a costume parade; plus circus act performers, food and drink. 11am to 7pm.

- The Monster S.M.A.S.H. Beer Fest at SpindleTap Brewery | Saturday, October 29 – The North Houston brewery hosts a Halloween weekend competition where more than 20 local breweries will compete for your votes with concoctions that only utilize one type of malt and one strain of hops. Stick around all afternoon and enjoy food trucks and entertainment by DJ Muskratch. $25 and up. 1pm to 5pm.
- White Oak Halloween Pub Crawl in the Heights | Saturday, October 29 | No Cover – Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon in the Heights when a slate of 8 bars and restaurants on White Oak host a pub crawl complete with prizes, giveaways and swag along the way. Stick around at Bobcat Teddy’s after the crawl and aim for the crown in the annual costume contest. 2pm to 6pm.

- Chromeo DJ Set & Halloween Party at Axelrad | Saturday, October 29 | FREE – The Halloween edition of the monthly Neon Garden series offers a fun night of video games, visual art installations, live music, and a special costume party. - Freaky Deaky 2022 at Houston Raceway Park | Saturday, October 29 & Sunday, October 30 – Get ready for two nights of costumed EDM fun at this festival taking place in Baytown, featuring producers like Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Illenium, and Chris Lake, plus dozens more DJs and pulse-pounding spooky fun. Single day tickets are $95 and up; 2-day passes are $170 and up. 2pm to 11pm.
