Join native Scotsman and Scotch Ambassador Ricky Crawford at a special tasty of Girvan and Kininvie whisky at Reserve 101 in Downtown Houston on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.

Ricky Crawford, Scotch Ambassador for the Scotch and Malt Whisky Society of America will be holding court at a very special whisky tasting featuring select whiskys from the Girvan Patent Still and Kininvie of William Grant & Sons Distillers.

Houston’s resident whisky (and whiskey) expert, Reserve 101 owner Mike Raymond, will be hosting Crawford in the same room that has recently hosted whisky expert Dave Broom and the team from Balcones Distilling for similar one-of-kind tasting events.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Lucky Dog Rescue.

Richard Crawford’s love for the “water of life” was inspired by both his father and uncle, who have been in the Scotch Whisky Industry for more than 25 years. Born and raised in Paisley, Scotland, Crawford moved to the United States in 1991 with a scholarship from the University of Alabama. For more than seven years he served as the brand ambassador for The Glenlivet and has hosted tasting events with Scottish First Minister, the British Ambassador and the The Prince of Wales. He has appeared on The Hannity Show, Fox News, CW11, BBC America, Bloomberg, The Street.com and has been featured in numerous magazines including GQ, Esquire and Whisky Life Magazine. In 2009, Crawford was awarded “The Certificate for Outstanding Contribution” by the James Beard Foundation.
