• Lone Star Rally at the Strand in Galveston | Thursday, November 4 to Sunday, November 7 | FREE – Attend one of Texas’ largest motorcycle rallies on Galveston Island. The Lone Star Rally weekend will be jam packed with events like a Sound Off Competition, Old Time Motorcycle Rodeo Games, Drive-in Car Show, and a Slingshot Showdown. Dozens of artists will also perform throughout the weekend. Admission is free, but VIP passes are available for purchase. Times vary.
• Houston Music & Arts Festival at Heritage Place Amphitheater | Saturday, November 6 & Sunday, November 7 – Enjoy yourself at the first weekend of the Houston Music & Arts Festival in Conroe. Sink your teeth into the tender BBQ at the Taste of Texas Food Garden, peruse through classic cars on display and enjoy the live musical performances. Admission is $10 when purchased in advance at McDonald’s, $12 purchased online; $15 at the door. 10am to 8pm daily.

Monday, November 1, 2021 

• Candlelight Open Air Día de Los Muertos at Hughes Manor – Sit back and relax to sounds from the Listeso Quartet on Washington Ave. for Day of the Dead. Set in a field of candlelight, the group will perform a variety of songs from themes of popular films and shows to works from Mexican composers. $50. 6pm.
• Angels and Airwaves in Concert at House of Blues – Frontman Tom DeLonge and the band Angel and Airwaves make their way to Downtown Houston for a night of alt rock songs. $45 to $69.50. 6:30pm.
• Día De Los Muertos Paint Party at Primary Paint Party – Paint and perfect your Día de Los Muertos sugar skull to observe the Mexican holiday. All art supplies are provided for attendees. $35. 7pm to 10pm.
• Punchline Mondays at Axelrad | No Cover – End your Monday with brews and belly laughs at Axelrad’s weekly comedic event. Local comedian Jeff Joe hosts the show. 8pm.

Tuesday, November 2, 2021 

• Volleyball Tournament at Bottled Blonde | No Cover – Spike, bump and set at Bottled Blonde’s volleyball tournament on Washington Ave. Teams of six must have at least three men and three women to compete. Grab a drink from the bar or order from their full menu after your game. 5pm to 2am.
• Tamale and Beer Pairing Dinner at Eureka Heights Brew Co. – Nothing is more Texan than pairing a cold beer with some fresh tamales. Eureka Heights’ popular event is back for another year and this time, it’s in-person. Attendees will receive a dozen tamales and six 4oz pours curated for the event. Tickets are $22. 6:30pm to 8pm.
• Trivia Tuesday at Moonshine Deck | No Cover – Fans of Netflix’s latest hit, Squid Game, should head to Moonshine Deck in the Heights for trivia, steak night and drink specials. Bring your buddies along to watch as you’re crowned trivia champ. 7pm to 11pm.

• International Wednesdays at Cru Lounge | No Cover – Dance like no one’s watching at Cru Lounge in Downtown. Wednesday nights are filled with afrobeats, reggae, dancehall, soca and hip-hop beats to get you up and moving. 5pm to close.
• Brainiac’s Anonymous at Woodson’s Local Tap + Kitchen | No Cover – Bring your thinking cap and a few friends to beat other local brainiacs at Woodson’s in Spring. While you’re there, take advantage of their $5 Wine Down Wednesday special. 8pm to 10pm.
• Scotty Alexander in Concert at Dosey Doe: the Big Barn – Have a ball as country music artist and multi-instrumentalist Scotty Alexander performs his top hits, including his latest single “One More Reason,” live in the Woodlands. Tickets range from $15 to $20. 8pm.

Thursday, November 4, 2021 

• Oysters, Blues & Brews at Goode Co. Armadillo Palace – Upper Kirby’s Goode Co. is hosting their annual oyster and blues event. Slurp on a helping of Gulf oysters and groove to live Blues music. Proceeds support the Coastal Conservation Association’s oyster reef restoration efforts. Tickets are $100. 5pm to 8pm.
• Art on the Avenue Preview Party at Sawyer Yards – Head to Winter Street Studios at Sawyer Yards for a first look at one of Houston’s largest silent art auctions dedicated to a good cause. Thursday’s preview party will have culinary treats, beverages and entertainment. Tickets are $125. 6pm to 9pm.
• Italian Cheeses & Wines at Central Market Cooking School – Enjoy a guided tasting of three Italian cheeses paired with three Italian wines at Central Market in River Oaks. Tickets are $50. 6pm.
• Ridge Winery Wine Dinner at Atkins House – If you love a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon or a smooth Merlot, you’re in for a treat at the Ridge Winery Wine Dinner in Spring Branch. Guests will enjoy a multi-course dinner paired with Ridge Winery’s finest red wines. $65. 6pm to 10pm.
• Lauren Daigle in Concert at Toyota Center – Top Christian artist Lauren Daigle travels to Downtown Houston for a show. The “You Say” singer will be joined by blues and gospel duo, The War and Treaty. $29.50 to $125. 6:30pm.
• Writer’s Block Open Mic Night at Mo’ Better Brews – Hear some of the most talented artists in Houston perform neo soul, hip-hop and spoken word at this Museum District open mic night. Enjoy performances with a delicious vegan dinner from the critically-acclaimed restaurant. $15 online; $20 at the door. 7pm to 9pm.
• Riot in Concert at Stereo Live Houston | FREE – The dubstep DJ duo consisting of Tom Davidson and Daniel Magid will perform at Richmond Ave’s EDM venue, Stereo Live. The “You Don’t Even Know Me” artists will bring their most heart-pumping tracks to make the crowd dance. Admission is free with an RSVP, but you can skip the line for $7. 10pm.

• BLCK Market presents First Fridays at Buffalo Soldiers National Museum – Support local Black businesses and entrepreneurs on the first Friday of each month in Museum District. BLCK Market provides opportunities for local Black merchants to showcase their products and brands to thousands of consumers. A handful of tickets are available for free, $5 after that. 6pm to 10pm.
• Mixology 101: Whiskey Business at William Price Distilling – Learn the history of classic cocktails and hone in on your stirring and shaking techniques at William Price Distilling in the Heights. This class, led by the distillery’s mixologists, will help you become a star behind the bar. Tickets are $35. 6pm.
• Journey Through Italy Wine Dinner at Grotto Downtown – Join Chef Sean Hochstein for a five-course dinner taking your taste buds on a voyage through Italy. Each course will feature a wine pairing from Terlato Wines International. Tickets are $95. 7pm.
• Kickin’ it Karaoke at Wakefield Crowbar | No Cover – Take your singing out of the shower and onto the center stage on Friday nights in the Heights. DJ Smooth Jazz will be in the mix to keep the karaoke rolling while Wakefield’s bartenders fill your glass with their drink specials. 7pm to 1am.
• Feminine Fridays at Social Beer Garden | No Cover – Social Beer Garden dedicates each Friday to spotlight and showcase female DJs, vendors, artists, and performers to display their craft in a safe and uplifting environment. Keep the girl power going and show support at this Midtown bar. 7pm to midnight.
• Enrique Iglesias & Ricky Martin in Concert at Toyota Center – Live la vida loca for a night at the Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias show in Downtown Houston. The Latin music sensations join forces for an upbeat show, with Sebastian Yatra as a special guest. Tickets range from $40 to $500, but you may find better or cheaper seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7:30pm. 
• Olivia O’Brien in Concert at Warehouse Live – The EaDo stage hosts California-based pop star Olivia O’Brien. Boosted to fame with singles like “Josslyn” and “I Hate U, I Love U”, O’Brien will be joined by Upsahl and Drumaq while on tour. Tickets are $22.50 in advance, $25 day of the show. 8pm.
• Salsa on the Rooftop at Ivy Bar & Bistro – Grab a partner to Salsa the night away on a rooftop overlooking Uptown Houston. The class, taught by Latin Dance Factory, will show attendees how to do upbeat Latin dances like Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia and Merengue. Tickets are $10 with RSVP, $15 at the door. 8:30pm.
• DJ Nick Warren at Bauhaus – The legendary British DJ spins a setlist at Bauhaus for his venue debut. Tickets are $20. 10pm.

• Fall Fest & Artisan Market at B-52 Brewing | No Cover – Head to Conroe for a fall festival with over 70 artisan high-end vendors, delicious craft beer, live music, food trucks and fall activities. Bring your four-legged friends to join the fun with you. Noon to 6pm.
• Kulture Brunch & Punch at Bar 2200 – If you’re in the mood for an Afro-Caribbean day party, Bar 2200 in Upper Kirby has you covered. Order brunch from their tasty menu of items and stay for the soca and dancehall music. Cover is $15. 2pm to 8pm.
• 6th Annual Whiskey Social at Citadel Houston – The South Houston venue hosts the 6th Annual Whiskey Social, one of Texas’ largest whiskey tasting events. The event features over 350 different expressions of spirits from across the globe with fine food to match. General admission is $90; VIP admission is $140. 6pm to 9pm.
• A Taste of Two Legends at Morton’s Steakhouse Galleria – Don’t miss your chance at an extravagant five-course dinner from Morton’s with five prestigious wines from Willamette Valley wineries. Dishes like duck foie mouse, jumbo lump crab, and sweet mascarpone are enough to make your mouth water upon arrival. Tickets are $169. 6:30pm.
• Comedian Trey Kennedy at Bayou Music Center – Known for his videos on Vine, Tiktok and YouTube, stand-up comedian Trey Kennedy brings the funny to Houston for the Are You For Real? Tour. Tickets are $35.00. 7pm.
• Chris Stapleton in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – The Grammy-winning country artist returns to touring with a continuation of his All-American Road Show Tour, which brings songs from his From a Room album series, plus special musical guests in Jamey Johnson and Yola. Tickets range from $39.75 to $99.75, but you may find better or cheaper seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7pm.
• Technicolor Night Market at Westheimer & Montrose | No Cover – Browse and sample delicious food, from a wide assortment of vendors, at a family-friendly night market pop-up happening at the Curb Market on the lot of the former Spec’s and Half-Price Books in the Montrose. 7pm to midnight.
• Día de Los Muertos Parade and After Party at C. Baldwin Hotel – The C. Baldwin Hotel hosts its first ever night parade for the Día de Los Muertos holiday in Downtown Houston. Ahead of the official parade (where the hotel offers exclusive views), there will be a large festival with food, entertainment and activities. Tickets are $35 for parade seating; $50 for the after party. 7pm to midnight.
• We Just Talkin’ Date Night at Art Worthy HTX – The Third Ward gallery takes date night to the next level with prompted conversation on an array of topics. Secure a table for two and enjoy a heart-to-heart discussion over glasses of wine. Tables for two are $50. 7pm to 8:30pm.
• The Pancakes & Booze Art Show at Warehouse Live – Forget your usual late night breakfast spots and head to Warehouse Live in EaDo. The show will feature over 100 emerging artists and have a full pancake bar. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. 8pm.
• Día de los Muertos Show at Shoeshine Charley’s Big Top Lounge – The Mid-Main venue makes a tribute to lost loved ones at their Saturday night Día de los Muertos show. Bring a photo or retablo to honor those who’ve passed for the altar, then enjoy performances from Jo Bird, GoatLeather, and Fatal Jets. Cover is $5. 9pm.

Sunday, November 7, 2021 

• 3rd Annual Tidbits Twinkle Market at M-K-T in the Heights – Knock out some of your holiday shopping early at the Tidbits Twinkle Market in the Heights. Grab a cocktail and stroll the vendor stalls to shop apparel, jewelry, housewares, art and more. Tickets range from $5 to $50. 11am to 5pm.
• Dog Days Sundays at Little Woodrow’s Tomball | No Cover – Take your pup out for some fun to Little Woodrow’s in Tomball. The watering hole–style bar will have splash pools and sprinklers for the dogs to play in and treats for all the good boys and girls at the event. Popular beer brand, Brewdog, will also be available for purchase. 11am to 2am.
• Katfish & Kicks at Playground Houston | No Cover – Sneakerheads who enjoy a good day party and brunch can head to one of Midtown’s newest bars. Eat some catfish and enter the raffle to win one of two pairs of custom kicks. 1pm to midnight. 
• The Sandlot Movie Screening at Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown – Catch stunning views of Uptown Houston with a rooftop screening of the ’90s classic, The Sandlot. Individual tickets range from $17.50 to $24.25. 1:30pm.

• 7th Birthday Celebration at Julep | No Cover – Celebrate like it’s 2014 when Alba Huerta‘s Julep on Washington Avenue celebrates seven years of mixology with DJ tunes, drink specials, guest bartenders, and a special bar takeover by Mexico City’s award-winning Licorería Limantour—rated one of the top cocktail bars in the world. 4pm to midnight.
• Nightbird in Concert at Main Street Crossing – The Fleetwood Mac cover band, heads to Tomball for a tribute performance to the group and their frontwoman, Stevie Nicks. Tickets range from $20 to $25. 6pm.
• Pecos Hank in Concert at Cowboy Surfer – Musician, songwriter and professional storm chaser Pecos Hank performs in Memorial City. Assigned seat tickets are $20. 7pm to 9pm.
