Experience the undeniably compelling sounds and energy of Gangstagrass when the perform live in concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Gangstagrass is a multi-racial collective of musicians who demolish preconceptions about America’s rural and urban music.

The group combines the great American traditions of country, bluegrass, hip-hop, and beyond, creating a new musical genre that’s more than the sum of its parts in the process.

Together, the string pickers and emcees create a shared cultural space for dialogue and connection between people that often don’t intersect.

When the band’s fifth studio album No Time For Enemies was released in 2020, Americana Highways proclaimed Gangstagrass “America’s Band” because they take so much of what’s amazing about this country—the ingenuity, creativity, the strength and struggles of such different people to forge a path into the unknown—and distill it into a message of common ground and unity across differences.

The album quickly rose to #1 on the Billboard bluegrass chart, the first time in history that hip-hop emcees have achieved that top spot.

As always, all shows and performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are completely free.
