Unleash your inner foodie and rock out with friends and family at the Galveston Island Wild Texas Shrimp Festival on the strand Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27, 2015.
For three days, Galveston’s historic downtown district will transform into a delectable Texas-sized celebration featuring gumbo tastings, cook-offs, free boat and RV exhibits, a Lil’ Shrimp Parade, live music, and fun for the whole family to enjoy.
Watch as restaurants and amateur teams go head-to-head during the festival cook-off. Visitors can also join the gumbo stroll and taste dishes from over 80 teams competing to earn the title of Best Team Showmanship.
Live music will be provided by soul-funk band, Roxy Roca and several vendors will be around offering local goodies for purchase.
