Play hookey from your standard weeknight responsibiliies at a free screening of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off in Historic Market Square on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

Alamo Rolling Roadshow presents John Hughes’ classic 1986 teen drama, featuring Matthew Broderick as the beloved high school wise guy. After successfully getting a pass to stay home from school from mom and dad, he recruits his girlfriend Sloane (Mia Sara) and coerces his best pal Cameron (Alan Ruck) into Chicago’s most epic ditch day ever.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, along with any food and non-alcoholic drinks, and settle in for a movie night under the stars.

Food & Drink

Although outside alchol isn’t permitted, beer and wine are available for purchase inside Market Square Park at Niko Niko’s, along with the usual array of delicious Greek and good ol’ American fare.

The Historic Market Square neighborhood surrounding Market Square Park is also also home to many other restaurants that provide take-out food service, including El Big Bad, Batanga, Barnaby’s and more.
