The Neil Diamond Experience at House of Blues | Thursday – Take the Neil Diamond fan in your life to experience “Sweet Caroline”, “America”, “Forever in Blue Jean”, and more as Broadway star and film actor Robert Neary channels Diamond in a striking tribute that’s been pleasing crowds across North America. $25 and up. 7pm.
- Cabs & Dads at Pappas Bros. Steak House | Thursday & Friday – The Galleria and Downtown steak house locations will offer a wine tasting that explores selections from around the world, carefully curated and representing some of the globe’s finest cabernet sauvignons. $150 per person, plus tax and gratuity. 5:30pm to 7pm.
- Houston Astros vs. Detroit Tigers at Minute Maid Park | Friday to Sunday – Come out to cheer on the ‘hometown ‘Stros as they welcome the team from Motor City for a three-game series. Through the weekend, early arriving fans can snag giveaways like a Jose Altuve bobblehead, an Astros Hawaiian shirt, and a travel tumbler. $29 and up. Times vary.
- 25% Discounts at 8th Wonder Brewery & Cannabis | Friday to Sunday – All weekend long, take advantage of 25%-off to-go products and merch at the EaDo brewery. - Dads & Dinos Day at the Woodlands Children’s Museum | Saturday – Celebrate Father’s Day and National Dinosaur Day by creating a dinosaur art project and a Nuts ‘n Bolts Key Chain at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. There will also be performances by children’s musician Juicebox Jukebox and storytimes. $9. 10am to 5pm.
- Father’s Day Pioneer Gun Class at George Ranch Historical Park | Saturday – Head back to the old days for a lesson in gun slingin’ at this annual Father’s Day celebration where dads learn how to load and shoot replica flint locks and percussion rifles that date back to the time of the Alamo. Classes are just for dads, but family members are invited to watch and explore the rest of the grounds. $16. Classes at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
- Father’s Day Whiskey Business Pooside Party at Marriott Marquis Houston | Saturday – The Texas-shaped pool in Downtown will host a Father’s Day twist on the classic film, Risky Business. Soak up the vibes while you sip on a Whiskey Business cocktail and indulge in a DIY nacho bar along with t-shirt giveaways throughout the evening. $70 and up. 5pm to 7pm.
- Shop Local Market Father’s Day Weekend at Houston Farmers Market | Saturday & Sunday | FREE – Find unique gifts for dad—including handcrafted items, tasty baked goods, local produce, and more—from 20+ artisans, makers and bakers. 10am to 5pm both days; free yoga class with Black Swan Yoga on Sunday at 9am.

- Coffee, Cars & Cigars Father’s Day at Riverhouse Houston – The East River eatery rolls out the red carpet for a fleet of classic, luxury and custom-designed cars to stroll past, plus you can enjoy the gourmet coffee bar, mimosas and a special Father’s Day brunch menu for the occasion. East River 9 will also have custom-made cigars available for purchase. $20. 11am to 2pm.
- Father’s Day at Le Jardinier – The MFAH fine dining spot offers a three-course Father’s Day menu with choices like crab risotto, striploin, and Heritage chicken breast, plus indulgent desserts to wrap it up. $125 per person. 11am to 2pm.
- Rad Dad Pop-Up at Eureka Heights Brewing Co. | FREE – Spend Dad’s Day afternoon at the Heights brewery where Deckle & Hide will serve up smoked brisket burgers and sausages on a bun, plus test your courage on the LEGO lava walk, and laugh it up to Fred Kasper’s Dad Joke Stand Up. Noon to 4pm.
- All Gas No Smoke Car Meet at Bayou City Event Center | FREE – The final car meet of the season is a free Father’s Day event. Come out to see a spectacular display of exotic cars, munch of grub from food vendors, and take in live performances and freestyle rap battle judged by a line-up of celebrities like Killa Kyleon, Slim Thug, Le$ and Lil Keke. Noon to 4pm.
- Rad Dad Market at Axelrad | No Cover – Hit up the neon garden for a day of local vendor shopping for dad-centric items, baked goods and more. Plus, enjoy specials on $4 Overholt Ryes, $8 Old Fashioneds and $20 beer buckets. Noon to 8pm.
- Father’s Day Beer & Burger at Wakefield Crowbar – Dads can score a free beer with the purchase of a Wakefield Burger at the Garden Oaks volleyball bar. Plus, enjoy other drink and food specials on beer towers, wings, and beer buckets. Noon to 10pm.

- Father’s Day Concert at Traders Village | FREE – The whole family will love this day out, with live music, rides, shopping and food. It’s a chance to spend time together and find unique items and enjoy family fun. $5 parking fee. 12:30pm to 4pm.
- Father’s Day at Bayou Bend Collection & Gardens – The decorative arts museum in River Oaks hosts a Father’s Day in the gardens, with light refreshments, live music and art activities. Free for fathers; $12.50 for adults; $6.25 for ages 13 to 18; free for ages 12 and under. 1pm to 5pm.
- Steak & Bordeaux Tasting Experience at Mutiny Wine Room – Celebrate Dad’s special day as you sample Chef Eduardo’s new Ribeye for Two including Hasselback potato, tomato and charred spring onion salad, burrata mozzarella, and grilled sourdough focaccia at Mutiny Wine Room. Reservations strongly suggested. $75 for two. 2pm to 9pm.
- Father’s Day at Kemah Boardwalk | FREE – The waterfront attraction offers a $5 discount for dads on an all-day ride pass when you purchase one. While there, enjoy Gulf coast eateries, boardwalk games, and scenic views of the water. 2pm to 10pm.
- Father’s Day Dinger Derby at Home Run Dugout – Dads and their kids are invited to participate in a Father’s Day edition of the Home Run Derby at the Katy batting cages and bar, for the top prize as best Father-Child pair. The winning team will receive a free 90-minute batting bay experience. Registration is $10 per pair. 3pm.
- TNT: AC/DC Tribute at Warehouse Live Midtown | FREE – Head to Midtown and get ready to jam to your favorite AC/DC hits. The Led Zeppelin Experience and Not Journey opens the show. Free with RSVP. 3pm.
- Appreciate Your Father Day with Dave Lawson at Houston Improv – At the Spring Branch laugh house, comedian Dave Lawson will host a special Father’s Day celebration, joined by a few fellow comics for a matinee show. $60 for 2, and up. 4pm.
