- Galveston Family Beach Challenge at East Beach | Sunday, September 3 | FREE – The last beach challenge of the summer offers family members and friends the chance to compete through 14 games and obstacles for a chance to win up to $2,000 in prizes. Stations are designed for ages 8 and up. 10am.
- End of Summer Fireworks at Kemah Boardwalk | Sunday, September 3 | FREE – Enjoy amusement rides, grab dinner, and catch some live music from Tino Tevino Trio and Shekere, then watch the night light up with a spectacular fireworks show over the boardwalk. 1pm to 9:30pm.
