Theater District Open House 2025 in Downtown Houston | Monday | FREE  For the first time since before the pandemic, the Theater District Open House is back. The free, family-friendly event invites Houstonians for exciting day of inspiration and discovery with interactive performances, activities, and behind-the-scenes experiences. Noon to 5pm.

Zoppé Family Italian Circus at Stewart Beach | Monday, Thursday to Sunday | Ongoing – Captivating audiences for generations, the charming old world one ring circus delights with breathtaking acrobatics, equestrian stunts, clowns, and heartfelt storytelling in Galveston. Showtimes vary.

Spring Break Events Around Greater Houston | Daily | Some FREE – Find entertainment, activities, camps, and more around Greater Houston this weekend. Most camps begin on Monday, March 10. Locations, prices, and times vary.

Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo at NRG Park | Daily – Enjoy all the rodeo action, live concerts, and a variety of all ages fun from carnival rides, outrageous festival food, drinks and more. Rodeo grounds open from 8am to midnight daily. Event times vary.

Stretch & Breathe: Yoga for Youngsters at the Jesse H. Jones Central Library | Thursday | FREE with RSVP – The Houston Public Library hosts a session for kids ages 6 to 10, where they’ll learn new poses and stretch their imaginations. RSVP required. 11am.

Family Free Night at Galveston Children’s Museum | Thursday | FREE – Everyone is welcome to experience the joy of discovery and play, while making memories filled with curiosity, creativity, and laughter at the free monthly night. 4pm.

Annual Book Sale & Rosenberg Day at Rosenberg Library in Galveston | Friday & Saturday | FREE – Embark on a literary treasure hunt of unique gently-used books, CDs, DVDs, and more. The sale continues on Saturday’s Rosenberg Day, with vendors, live music, games, hands-on activities, vendors, and more. Times vary.

The Big Bounce America at SaberCats Stadium | Friday to Sunday The Big Bounce America brings the world’s largest bounce house to SaberCats Stadium. $22 for ages 3 and under; $35 for ages 7 and under, $35 for ages 15 and under; $45 for adults only, with dedicated time slots for each. Times vary.

Super Saturday: Nowruz in Bloom at Asia Society Texas Center | Saturday | FREE with RSVP – Welcome the Persian New Year at an event packed with music, creative crafts, and enchanting storytelling. RSVP required. 10:30am to 2pm.

Professional Sandcastle Building Lessons at East Beach in Galveston | Saturday | FREE – Walk up and learn how to craft sandcastles like a pro at this free session for all ages. No registration. 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. 

64th Annual Houston St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Downtown Houston | Saturday | FREE – One of Houston’s oldest Irish traditions, the annual family-friendly parade brings Irish cheer and celebration into Downtown, with a route that enters and exits on Allen Parkway and passes in front of City Hall. Noon to 2pm.

Katy Family Day at Home Run Dugout | Saturday | FREE – Mark 2 years of Home Run Dugout fun with live music, face painting, a bounce house, mechanical bull, and fireworks. Noon to 7pm.

Neon Brush Kids Edition: A Family-Friendly Art Experience at Resurrection MCC | Saturday – Kids can let their creativity flow and watch their canvases glow in the dark while painting in a UV-lit art studio. $27 guardian ticket required; $19 for ages 4 to 17. 1:15pm and 3:30pm.

St. Patrick’s Day at Children’s Discovery Center | Sunday – The Fort Bend museum hosts a celebration with Irish step dancing, a scavenger hunt, green slime and other hands-on fun for kids. $15. 9am to 5pm.

Birds, Bees & Butterflies at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center | Sunday The kid-oriented music- and nature-filled event celebrates  winged friends and lets kids try their hand at playing the harp. $8. 11am.

2nd Annual Corgi Races at Home Run Dugout | Sunday | No Cover – The cutest short & stout dogs race to bring home the bacon at the Katy mainstay. 2pm.
