Get into free fun for the whole fam with the return of the completely free Family Fun Day at MATCH on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 1pm to 5pm.

The free annual tradition, MATCH Family Fun Day returns to Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston—aka MATCH—with an afternoon of kid-friendly performances and opportunities to explore the arts as a family.

Take in musical concerts from Prelude Music, children’s theater by Main Street Theater, and dynamic dance routines from the Open Dance Project.

Plus, kiddos will have the chance to have their face painted, hop into bounce houses, and enjoy balloon artists, stilt walkers, live chalk art, and more—all afternoon long.

Food trucks and concessions will be available for purchase on-site and, best of all, the day’s events and activities are completely free to all.
