Help judge a Thanksgiving recipe competition between 18 iconic Houston chefs – and sample all 18 of their entries – at the What’s Free Falliday Leftover Throwdown on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.

Join in a pre-Thanksgiving feast and all out cooking competition as chefs from some of Houston’s hottest restaurant take traditional Thanksgiving recipes and make them unique.

Competing chefs will represent Bar Boheme, Batanga, Beaver’s, Brooklyn Athletic Club, Cove, Eatsie Boys, El Big Bad, Goro & Gun, l’Olivier, Latin Bites, Lowbrow, Mr Peeples, Phoenicia, Prego, Roost, Triniti, Uchi and Underbelly.

Each chef will prepare a reimagined Thanksgiving dish based upon traditional recipes. A panel of expert judges will select their favorite and the audience will vote for the crowd’s choice. In addition to the 18 courses, complementary Deep Eddy Vodka Falliday cocktails will available for the delight of the crowd.

All event proceeds for this fundraiser go directly to support the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art.
