Volunteer with Dress For Success Houston and provide women with the opportunity to grow professionally.

Houston has one of the nation’s best job markets and continues to attract young professionals who are eager to begin their careers. As one of the biggest cities in the country, Houston is home to countless opportunities. However, in the midst of all the opportunities, many women still find themselves unable to succeed in the professional world. Through proper training and the right outfit, Dress For Success empowers local women to achieve financial independence.

Dress for Success is an international nonprofit association dedicated to providing professional attire and career development to underprivileged women. Since its local inception in 1998, Dress For Success (DFS) has served more than 30,000 Houston area women and relies on volunteers and donations to continue that service.

There are many ways to get involved with DFS including donating gently used professional attire, shopping at supporting stores or becoming a mentor in the Professional Women’s Group. The Professional Women’s Group provides information, training and support to its members with the belief that “success is not about getting the job; it’s about building a career.”

Give local women the suit and the confidence necessary to nail an interview and obtain financial independence by volunteering with or donating to Dress For Success Houston.
