Dive into the history and future of Houston’s historic airfield in Ellington Airport: Gateway to Space at Lone Star Flight Museum through Sunday, January 19, 2020. 

A new exhibit at Lone Star Flight Museum at Ellington Field explores the history of the airstrip, and looks ahead to its legacy as a future spaceport in the next frontier of aerospace travel.

Ellington Airport: Gateway to Space features historical photos, illustrations, and stories of the airport’s past, and displays a Link Trainer, the world’s first commercially produced flight simulator that trained over 500,000 pilots, including during World War II.
