Entertainment awaits in the historic 1878 First National Bank Building (home of the Galveston Arts Center), where Dickens After Dark promises unique performances, cocktails, and revelry for all.

Part of the 46th annual Dickens on the Strand, Dickens After Dark is a nighttime soiree that keeps the party going well after sunset, featuring performances by contortionist Cai French, noted violinist Allie May, and the one-of-a-kind magic from The Crescent Circus.

In addition, guests can view exhibited artworks from Amber Eagle and Gerardo Rosales.

Dickens on the Strand

Dickens on The Strand is Galveston’s annual holiday street festival bursting with live entertainment on multiple streets, including strolling carolers, roving musicians, bagpipers, jugglers, and a crowd of entertainers and costumed revelers.

First-time visitors and returnees alike embrace the holiday tradition, dressing up in their Dickensian finest (or raggedy threads for a proper pauper) while taking to the streets to shop, eat, party, parade, and celebrate.
