Bring aboard daily fun during Spring Break with Destination Celebration at Children’s Museum Houston from Saturday, March 7 through Sunday, March 22, 2020.

Liven up your Spring Break as Children’s Museum Houston hosts Destination Celebration, a daily slate of fun, exciting, and hands-on activities that are sure to fill your favorite kiddo’s calendar.

For two weeks, little ones at the museum can enjoy bouncing to new heights on bungee trampolines, rolling around in human-sized hamster balls, navigating the Glow Maze, trying their luck at boardwalk-inspired games, and more.

Each day at 3pm, those in attendance will delight in entertaining performances from the worlds of magic, dance, music, monkeys and more. Scroll down to check out a daily schedule of performances.

Destination Celebration Schedule of Events

Enjoy a slate of morning and early afternoon activities, starting at 10am (noon on Sundays), then get ready for these entertaining performances at 3pm (unless noted otherwise).

  • Spring Break Dance Party | Saturday, March 7 – Get the Spring Break Bash rolling with an energetic performance by Break Free Hip Hop School, followed by an all-afternoon dance party to the beats of DJ Mr. Duke.
  • Magician Jaime Salinas | Sunday, March 8 & Sunday, March 22 – Catch the jaw-dropping illusions of local magician Jaime Salinas as he makes the impossible seem possible with tricks that defy belief.
  • Exciting Juggling Show | Monday, March 9 & Wednesday, March 18 – Ooh and aah at the acrobatic tricks of talented jugglers during afternoon performances.
  • Holi Celebration | Tuesday, March 10 – Celebrate the beautiful festival of colors with a fabulous Indian dance performance by Silambam Houston, followed by interactive fun inspired by this colorful celebration.
  • Crocodile Encounter | Wednesday, March 11 – Houston’s largest reptile show, Crocodile Encounter, arrives at Children’s Museum Houston. Experience nature up close and personal and dive into a world you never knew existed.
  • Moana Jr. by Inspiration Stage | Thursday, March 12 – Watch as the adventures of Disney’s Moana come to life with an Inspiration Stage performance, featuring songs from the film and delivering an empowering message of bravery and selflessness.
  • Children’s Museum’s Got Talent | Friday, March 13 – Marvel at a mind-boggling performance from Cirque du Soleil Alegria, followed by a chance to strut your stuff with an open mic talent show hosted by Christina Wells, a semi-finalist on Season 13 of America’s Got Talent, and Wendy Taylor, who was featured in Season 11 of American Idol.
  • Pi Day Fight | Saturday, March 14 – Swing by on 3/14 at 1:59pm for the return of Children’s Museum Houston’s annual Pi Day Celebration. The fun-filled afternoon celebrates the infinite, non-repeating number (3.14159…) with an appearance by Albert Einstein (who’s birthday shares the day) and the 11th annual Shaving Cream Pi(e) Fight, where the street is shut down as two teams battle it out in a messy Pi(e) Fight outdoors. Registration is required to participate in the Pi(e) Fight.
  • Mad About Hoops | Sunday, March 15 – Gaze into the dazzling, colorful light show by hula hoop master Amy Neel as her spectacular LED hula hoop creates blurs of color, shapes, and motion.
  • Disc-Functional K-9 Show | Monday, March 16 – See the freestyle tricks on display by a team of talented doggos as they pull off some paw-some moves.
  • McTeggart Irish Dancers | Tuesday, March 17 – Enjoy lively Irish music and culture with a performance by the talented troupe, McTeggart Irish Dancers.
  • Incredible Kid Day | Thursday, March 19 – Marking the international Incredible Kid Day, Children’s Museum Houston commemorates the special day with a visit from characters of The Incredibles. Enjoy the meet-and-greet opportunity and snap a photo with the Incredible family.
  • Miss Monkey’s Emporium | Saturday, March 21 – Strike a pose with monkeys Sasha, Cody and Lola after they monkey around in an afternoon performance by Miss Monkey’s Emporium.
