Celebrate the Chinese New Year at Straits Restaurant in CityCentre

Straits Restaurant is ringing in the Chinese New Year with a special unique menu and festive entertainment Friday, February 20, through Sunday, February 22, 2015.

From Friday, February 20, through Sunday, February 22, Straits will be featuring a unique menu celebrating the Year of the Goat.

Sample aptly named dishes like Fertility & Long Life – roasted duck breast, bamboo and bean thread noodles; New Horizons + Eternity – wok seared scallops, long beans and garlic chives; Strength & Wealth – fried pork chop and ginger apricot chutney; and Happiness + Good Fortune – chili shrimp and seared pork belly turnip cakes.

On Friday only, from 6:45pm to 7:30pm, guests will be delighted with a traditional Lion Dance, a custom performed during Chinese New Year to bring happiness to celebrating onlookers.
