While the Montrose mainstay Griff’s continues to rebuild following a devastating fire, they’ve joined forces with Velvet Oak Tavern on West Alabama to celebrate the holiday with Griff’s traditional Irish celebrations.

• Griff’s Annual Irish Crawfish Boil at Velvet Oak Tavern | Saturday, March 16 | No Cover – Enjoy a tasty, all-day Irish crawfish and shrimp boil with live music from the Zydeco Bulls and Snit’s Dog and Pony Show, green beer, and food from Velvet Oak Tavern and Bollo’s Woodfired Pizza Truck. Crawfish $8 per pound. 11am to close.
• Griff’s Annual St. Paddy’s Day Party at Velvet Oak Tavern | St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17 – The big event lands on St. Patrick’s Day itself, with live music on a big outdoor stage, leprechauns, green beer, cold shots, Bollo Woodfired Pizza, festival food, face painting, Irish dancers, and more. $10. 11am to close.
