Pier 6 goes big for its annual Independence Day bayside bash.

This year, the San Leon Fire Department will have a fire engine on site for kiddos to check out from 2pm to 4pm; and guests can enjoy live music, a face painter, balloon artist, popcorn machine, and sno-cones from 4pm to 9pm, with fireworks on the pier to end the night.

Pair the festivities with fresh Gulf seafood, tropical cocktails, draft beer and wine.
