The first ever Brew and Vinos Festival is coming to Stafford, just a short trip from Houston, Katy and Sugar Land.

Brew and vinos festival staffordThe midday outdoor event offers an afternoon – or two – of mingling, sampling and savoring the good life. Guests can while their day away in the VIP tent outside the Stafford Centre, sampling beer and wine, enjoying tasty food pairings and browsing the wares of artisan vendors.

The festival will also coincide with the Sugar Land Home and Garden Show, taking place next door within the Stafford Centre. Festival-goes can also present their Brew & Vinos tickets for discounted admission to the show.

Two Day Festival

Both days will have their unique character and offerings.

On Saturday, participating breweries will be offering tastings from rare specialty kegs, while Sunday will see the first ever Brew and Vinos Beer Competition, which will select a single Audience Choice winner selected by festival-goers. Beer enthusiasts are going to want a two-day pass.

Sunday’s beer competition will have one winner-Audience Choice and will be picked by votes from the festival participants.  Winner will be announced at 3pm Sunday

Admission includes a beer tasting card (good for eight 3-ounce pours of beer) or a wine tasting card (good for four 2.5-ounce pours of wine), plus food samples and entertainment. Additional tasting cards are available for $6 each. Designated driver tickets are also available.

The Brews

Craft brews on tap for the festival include No Label Brewery’s 1st Street Blonde Ale and Nightmare on 1st Street; Lone Pint Brewery’s Yellow Rose SMaSH IPA, Jabberwocky Imperial IPA and 667 American IPA; Galveston Island Brewing’s Tiki Wheat; Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co.’s Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. The event will also feature surprise brews from Texian Brewing Co., Buffalo Bayou Brewery, Karbach Brewing Co. and Southern Star. Don’t forget about the rare keg tappings on Saturday and the beer competition, taking place on Sunday.

The Wines

Sip on locally made vino from Yellow Brick Road Winery, Dionisio Winery and Braman Winery, among others. You’ll have the opportunity to sample full-bodied reds, crisp, refreshing whites and everything in between.

Several exclusive bottles of wine, signed by the winery owners, will also be auctioned off.

The Eats

Enjoy a selection of food curated and prepared by chef Lionel of F.B. Chefs, Whole Foods and others to compliment your beer and wine tastings. Satisfy your sweet tooth with alcohol-infused treats from the Tipsy Dessert Bar.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Reach N Teach Ministries of Pearland.
