See the return of the so-good-it-had-to-come-back The Book of Mormon as it delights, pontificates, educates, amuses and shocks (if it’s your first time) at the Hobby Center from Tuesday, January 20 through Sunday, February 8, 2015.
The crowd-pleasing show won nine Tony Awards, including “Best Musical” during its original run in 2011. It was created by the controversial but talented and beloved Trey Parker and Matt Stone, themselves four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of South Park, and Robert Lopez, a Tony Award-winner and co-creator of Avenue Q.
Jon Stewart of The Daily Show called the show was “a crowning achievement, so good it makes me angry” and Entertainment Weekly labeled it “the funniest musical of all time.” Meanwhile, Ben Brantley of The New York Times called it “the best musical of this century.”
It’s not intended for children and, while you’re laughing, you’ll be glad you let them at home.
