- DNVRMX presents Everything’s Bigger Pride at Multiple Venues | Thursday, June 22 to Sunday, June 25 – Get Pride Weekend rolling with a four-night slate of events taking place at venues around Houston, delivering DJ jams from the decks, themed attire nights, drinks and more. Tickets vary by event; $25 and up. Times vary.
- Rainbow on the Green at Discovery Green | Friday, June 23 | FREE – The annual family-friendly Pride night event at Discovery Green returns, with live performances from the LA–based pop singer-songwriter Jordy, supported by Houston’s own powerhouse vocalist, Z’maji. 7pm to 10pm.
- Houston Symphony presents Summer Symphony Nights at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Friday, June 23 & Saturday, June 24 | FREE – The orchestra presents the opener of this four-concert series that includes Lyric for Strings by George Walker, the first African American to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music. Recent Sphinx Junior Division laureate Amaryn Olmeda joins the orchestra for Bruch’s popular Violin Concerto No. 1, and Dvořák’s immortal New WorldSymphony closes the evening. 8:30pm.
- Galveston United Beach & Music Fest at East Beach | Saturday, June 24 | FREE – Held right on the shores of Galveston Island, this all-day music fest features eight performers, including Citywide Funk, Matthew Hartnett & the Gumbo Allstars, the Keesha Pratt Band, and Cupid. Concertgoers can also expect family-friendly games, glitter tattoos, a cornhole tournament, and more beachside fun. 10am to 6pm.
- Empire State Jazz Festival at Discovery Green | Saturday, June 24 – The annual jazz showcase returns to Downtown, offering a slate of chart-topping jazz musicians from around the country. This year’s headliners include Adam Hawley and Grammy-winning guitarist Scott Marvill. $40 and up. Noon to 10pm.
- Summer Community Celebration at CAMH | Saturday, June 24 | FREE – Contemporary Arts Museum Houston hosts an indoor summer celebration, with drop-in experiences that will help you create your own works of art, as well as a photo booth, sports film fest, a visit with Houston Public Library, and a live performance from avant-garde group, Aurum Son. 1pm to 4pm.
- Luau Night at East End Backyard | Saturday, June 24 | No Cover – The laid-back East End bar hosts a Hawaiian-themed luau with live music, dancers, lei greeters, and roasted pigs. 3pm.
- Pride Extravaganza at Star Sailor HTX | Saturday, June 24 | FREE – The Heights drinkery and kitchen hosts its annual Pride celebration with a night of live DJs and performers, flash tattoos and face painting, and drinks from Montucky, Topo Chico, Austin Eastciders and Lone Star. 5pm to 1am.
- Thorn & Moon Magickal Market: Summer Solstice at Saint Arnold Brewing Company | Saturday, June 24 | No Cover – Celebrating the summer solstice, the Thorn & Moon market returns to Saint Arnold, offering more than 50 vendors to explore, tarot readers, curated music, food and tasty craft brews. 6pm to 11pm.
- Official Houston Pride LGBT+ Parade in Downtown Houston | Saturday, June 24 | FREE – The 45th annual pride celebration takes to the streets of Downtown Houston near City Hall for a parade gathering that typically draws hundreds of thousands each year. With no festival taking place this year, attendees are encouraged to patronize Montrose gayborhood bars beforehand or head to Rise Rooftop for the official afterparty. 7pm to 11pm.
- Romeo Santos in Concert at Minute Maid Park | Saturday, June 24 – The singer-songwriter, producer, and leader of the bachata band Aventura is embarking on a massive world tour in celebration of his fifth studio album, Fórmula, Vol. 3. $89 and up. 9pm.
- 3rd Annual Charro Bean Contest at Southern Star Brewery | Sunday, June 25 – Come together to celebrate the best charro beans from professionals and home cooks at this third annual event at the Conroe brewery. Free to attend; $15 entry fee to participate. 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
- Comedian Sam Morril at House of Blues | Sunday, June 25 – The Downtown stage welcomes Sam Morril—stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer—for one night only. The prolific New York comic has performed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late, Late Show with James Corden, Conan and more. $27.50 and up. 7pm.
- An Evening with John Cusack & High Fidelity Movie Screening at 713 Music Hall | Sunday, June 25 – The beloved actor and screenwriter joins the audience for a screening of the 2000 rom-com High Fidelity, followed by a moderated discussion with Cusack, where he’ll also be answering audience questions. $49.50 and up. 7:30pm.
