  • Houston Astros vs. Miami Marlins at Minute Maid Park | Daily – All weekend, you can get into some fun at the ballpark, with Flashback Friday featuring fireworks and a Framber Valdez jersey giveaway, a Kyle Tucker bobblehead on Saturday, and a Sunday afternoon game with Dusty Baker wristbands for kids and a post-game Run the Bases. $24 and up. Times vary.
  • Stages presents Song of Me at the Gordy | Daily | Final Weekend – This exciting world premiere explores family, tradition, Vietnamese cooking, and growing up in Houston from two of the city’s young, exciting artists, Mai Lê and Đạt Peter Tôn. $25 and up. Times vary
  • Black Restaurant Week’s 5th Annual Nosh Culinary Showcase at George R. Brown Convention Center | Friday, June 10 – Back again for a fifth time, this culinary showcase gets you close to the city’s premiere Black chefs, caterers and bartenders who are serving up tantalizing tastes from cuisines that stretch the African diaspora. Early bird tickets are $30; $65 for VIP with cocktail lounge access, and up. 6pm to 10pm.
  • Cheer Live at Smart Financial Centre | Friday, June 10 – Top athletes from Navarro College and Trinity College, as seen in Netflix’s hit documentary, Cheer, take the stage to show off their high-flying skills when the 2022 tour stops by Sugar Land. $29.95 and up. 7:30pm. 
  • Comedian Hari Kondabolu at the Secret Group | Friday, June 10 – Known for his 2017 documentary, The Problem with Apu, the New York-based comedian brings his insights as an Indian American to the Secret Group stage, tackling social issues with satirical takes on the world around us. $20 in advance; $25 day of show. 8pm.
  • AsiaFest 2022 at Asia Society Texas Center | Saturday, June 11 | FREE – Take a tour of cultures from across the Asia region, with all-ages arts and crafts activities inspired by countries like Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan and several others, catch traditional dance and music performances, watch a lion dance in the afternoon, and more. Free, though theater performances are $5 for members; $10 for non-members. 11am to 5pm.
  • Summer Jam HTX 2022 at SoHo Festival Grounds | Saturday, June 11 – Get to South Houston for a summer concert featuring summertime DJs and over two dozen rap artists, headlined by Moneybagg Yo, Latto, Bun B, Lil Flip, Tay Money, and more. $85 and up. 2pm to 11pm.
  • A Bayou City Picnic: Adysen Malek at the Arboretum | Saturday, June 11 – This special summer picnic series stocks you up with free Saint Arnold brews and your choice of sandwiches or charcuterie for you to enjoy when Adysen Malek performs a night of love songs in the breezy scenery of the Arboretum. $85 for 2; add-on options available. 6:30pm to 8pm.
  • Houston Pride Band presents Celebrations at MATCH | Saturday, June 11 – Get grooving to summer block party vibes when Houston Pride Band brings the brass for a night celebrating Pride Season with music like Festive Overture, “La Fiesta Mexicana,” songs from Kool and the Gang, and more. $15; $5 for ages 12 and under. 8pm.
  • Comedian Nick Kroll at House of Blues | Saturday, June 11 – Rescheduled from an earlier date in January, the Big Mouth creator and hilarious comedian, that’s also featured in Sing 2 and alongside Harry Styles and Florence Pugh in Don’t Worry Darling, brings his Middle-Aged Boy Tour to House of Blues for a one-night engagement. $47.50. 8pm.

  • Houston Dash vs. Portland Thorns at PNC Stadium | Sunday, June 12 – Come early to see the Dash take on Portland and receive a Dash Pride Hat with rainbow accents for Pride Night in EaDo. $12 and up. 6pm.
  • Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears in Concert at the Heights Theater | Sunday, June 12 – At long last, the blues guitarist returns to touring and is joined by his band and Grammy-nominated bluesman, Cedric Burnside. $24 and up. 8pm.
