Marvel at the latest hand-crafted sculpture of artist Ben Butler on view at Heritage Plaza from Wednesday, January 20 through Friday, May 13, 2016.

Featuring complex patterns made entirely out of poplar wood, the large structure titled Exchange is currently being assembled by Butler at the Rice University Art Gallery.

Intrigued by intricate structures that can develop from simple processes, Butler uses this fascination as the framework for his latest installation at Heritage Plaza.

The exhibition which is free and open to the public is curated by Sally Reynolds and presented by Arts Brookfield with the cooperation of Rice University Art Gallery.

See the finished product when Exchange makes its way Downtown later this month.
