2018 Pro Teams
Professional athletes, retired from the NFL and other professional sports leagues like the NBA, lead and play on the four Pro Teams.
- The Roadrunners – Four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Mike Vick is moving his electric speed and talents from the NFL gridiron to the flag football field. Coming out of Virginia Tech, Vick was the first overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft, becoming the first African American quarterback to be selected first overall. In Vick’s thirteen seasons in the NFL, he transformed the quarterback position with his athletic abilities. He holds both the record for most rushing yards in a season and career rush yards for quarterbacks.
- Ocho – Team captain Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson is a six-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time first team All-Pro wide receiver. Johnson played college football for Oregon State University and was drafted by the Bengals in 2001. Over his eleven NFL seasons, he played for the Bengals, Patriots, and Dolphins, and was the NFL’s receiving yards leader in 2006. He is a member of the prestigious 10,000 Receiving Yards club. Johnson also played two years in the CFL for the Montreal Alouettes.
- Godspeed – The team is led by Michael Johnson and Justin Forsett. Johnson is an United States Olympic track and field hero, winning four Olympic gold medals and eight World Championships. In his eight-year NFL career, Forsett played for the Texans Seahawks, Colts, Jaguars, Ravens, Lions, and Broncos. He also received a Pro Bowl nomination in 2014.
- Holdat – Led by the basketball duo of Nate Robinson and Carlos Boozer. Robinson, a three-time NBA Slam Dunk Champion, played in the NBA for 10 seasons and was on the rosters of the Knicks, Celtics, Thunder, Warriors, Bulls, Nuggets, Clippers, and Pelicans. He was played cornerback at the University of Washington his freshman year. Boozer had a productive thirteen-season NBA career while playing for the Cavaliers, Jazz, Bulls, and Lakers. He was a two-time All-Star, named All-NBA Third Team, won a gold medal with Team USA in 2008 and a bronze medal in 2004.
