Get a look at H-Town’s brand new Houston hub for start-ups, culture, and innovation at the free community block party at The Ion in Midtown on Friday evening, May 13, 2022.

Easily Houston’s biggest entry-to-date to its local entrepreneurial scene, The Ion is now officially open to the public and anyone and everyone can check out the new digs at The Ion’s free community Block Party.

The Friday night event wraps up the week-long Ion Activation Festival, a series of events with a big celebration that will spill out into the streets and that looks, sounds, tastes, and feels like Houston.

Swing by and enjoy a night of live music from the local crowdpleasers Empire 6, bites from food trucks and local vendors, arcade and lawn games, a roving photo booth, appearances by Houston sports mascots, art cars, startup founders and booths, and a live fireworks spectacular over Midtown that will cap off the week’s celebration.

About The Ion District
