Already a crowd-pleaser with sold out Tuesday evening league play at Brooklyn Athletic Club, Major League Bocce is expanding to a new time and place just in time for summer 2017.

Whether you’re an accomplished athlete or a social butterfly, the game is fun, easy-to-play, and accessible to everyone.

Set up under the trees at Rico’s Morning Noon + Night in Midtown’s Bagby Park, registration is open to those 21 or older (or who will be by Thursday, June 8, 2017).

Players can register as a group, with a friend, or solo and join an open league.

The Game of Bocce – Old & New

Once associated with older Italian gents, the game of bocce has been revitalized. Casual yet competitive, it makes for a great social sport for a number of reasons: men and women are on equal footing, age is not an issue, and no prerequisite athletic ability is required.

If you can roll a ball, you can play.

Games last 45 minutes and are played to 14 points. Before, during and following games, league members are invited to enjoy beer and food specials.

Registration Equals Fun & Goodies

Each player registration includes eight weeks of bocce play and social fun, food and drink specials at Rico’s Morning, Noon + Night, a colorful team t-shirt, and a free party sponsored by Saint Arnold Brewing Company at the end of the season.

All registrations are $60 per player but we have an exclusive discount offer just for you! Save $20 on the season when you use discount code BAG20. Click here to register.
