Turn your Super Bowl into an away game this year. Leave the house and head to one of the many Super Bowl viewing parties taking place at bars and restaurants across Houston. Kick off is at 5:30pm and you’ll be hard pressed to find a venue with a television that’s not tuned to Super Bowl XLVIII. Whether your speed is neighborhood bar, upscale buffet or block party blow out, we’ve got your back.

Downtown

Midtown

  • Super Bowl XLVIII at Dogwood – Reserve a table to secure great seats as the Broncos meet the Seahawks. There are package options for four, six or ten people and reservations are recommended.
  • Super Bowl Sundown Touchdown at Proof Bar – Reserve your table to catch the game on the giant projection screen or any of the TVs around the bar. 3pm to Midnight. Official afterparty at 5th Amendment from 10pm to 2am.

Montrose / River Oaks

  • Chris Shepherd’s Super Bowl / Chinese New Year Party at Hay Merchant – Enjoy half price Houston beers during the game along with Shepherd’s special menu items, including Peking chicken wings, Char Siu and Peking chicken steamed buns, Lap Cheong corn dog, shrimp-fried rice and General Tso’s chicken.
  • Super Bowl Buffet at Tony Mandola’s – Catch the game on a large projection screen or the TVs above the bar at this special all-you-can-eat buffet with happy hour-priced drinks.   • Tailgate at Local Pour – Super Bowl Sunday means happy hour all day and $10 all-you-can-eat hot dogs, nachos and popcorn starting off at 4:30pm. Happy Hour is $1 off all draft beer and wine by the glass, with $2.75 wells and $3.25 select calls at this River Oaks favorite.

The Heights

  • Super Bowl at The City Oven – It’s happy hour all day at the Heights’ eclectic new pizza tavern. Enjoy $2.75 domestic pint drafts, $3.75 domestic big beer drafts, $4.50 craft pint drafts, $6.25 craft big beer drafts, $2.75 wells and $3.50 house wine. 10am to 1am.

Uptown / Galleria

  • Super Bowl at Axis Lounge at Royal Sonesta Hotel Houston – See the Seahawks battle the Broncos in style at the posh Axis in the recently remodeled Royal Sonesta. Enjoy $16 buckets of beer and food and cocktail inspired by Seattle and Denver.

Energy Corridor / Westside

  • The Big Game at the Houston Texans Grille at CityCentre – If the Texans don’t go to the Super Bowl, take your Super Bowl experience to the Texans. Reserve your seat for a great buffet, an entry in the football squares game for a chance to win gift cards or signed merchandise. $45
  • Watson’s House of Ales – You’ll want to get there early to score the seat or table you have in mind at this popular craft beer destination hidden just around the corner from Highway 6 and the Katy Freeway.
  • Baker Street Pub & Grill – Enjoy happy hour pricing including $2.50 select domestic draft and wells, $2.75 select premium domestic drafts, $2.50 margaritas on the rocks, $3.00 select calls and more all day. All locations.

Southeast / Bay Area

  • Super Bowl Party at Putt-Putt Fun House in Webster – Enjoy the big game on the big screen, with full access to all of Putt-Putt Fun House’s games and distractions. Admission includes a six-inch personal pan pizza, unlimited soft drinks and super bowl contests and prizes. $20. 5pm to 9pm.
