Take a break from the holidays with a dance production where sea urchins where tutus and fish dance ballet as ChinaCats Dance presents Aquaria at Rice University on Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13, 2013.
The creative and entertaining dancers over at ChinaCats Dance dedicate an hour of dance and theater to a celebration of fantastical life under the seas in Aquaria, a show complete with mermaids, jellyfish, sea slugs and a menagerie of sea creatures.
The show is theatrical and under an hour long, making it well suited for children. The performance won “Best Costume/Design” in the 2013 Houston Fringe Festival.
ChinaCats Dance stages enlightening, audience friendly dance works, accessible to diverse communities and age groups.
