Bring the whole family out to Hobby Airport for food, activities, live music and prizes at HobbyFest 2016 on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 10am to 4pm.

Take off towards the Hobby Airport for HobbyFest 2016 – a lively daytime event that’s fun for the whole family.

Come out and enjoy complimentary food and drink while enjoying live music from a DJ and getting a close look at vintage and modern aircraft. You’ll also have a chance to win raffle prizes like round trip tickets from Southwest Airlines.

Kids Fun, Games & Activities

The kiddos will love getting their face painted, jumping around in a moonwalk, watching an artist create balloon animals and showing off their skills in the video game bus among many other options.

Boy Scouts will have the opportunity to acquire merit badges during the event.

This year, five local students in transportation-related fields will receive scholarships funded with money raised from generous event sponsors

HobbyFest 2016 will take place rain or shine. But don’t worry if the weather’s not perfect, most activities take place in the shelter of an airplane hangar.
