Experience heart-pounding aviation adventure this weekend at the Wings Over Houston Airshow 2024 at Ellington Field on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27, 2024.
One of the top air shows in North America—voted #3 in USA Today polls—returns to Ellington Field for its 40th year, bringing a full weekend of high-flying thrills, agile expert pilots, vintage aircraft and all kinds of airshow spectacles.
The Blue Angels, the United States Navy’s flight demonstration squadron piloted by aviators from the Navy and Marines, will be headlining this year’s event, making their first Wings Over Houston appearance since 2022.
The family-friendly event offers fun and entertainment both on the ground and in the air, featuring kid zones, static airplanes for touring, food and drink vendors, souvenirs, a WWII reenactment camp, the Legends & Heroes Autograph Tent, the Houston Veterans Marketplace with local veteran-owned businesses, and more.

More Airshow Performances
Guests can also celebrate 50 years of the USAF F-16 Viper, catch the rumbling sight of the C-17 Globemaster III, one of the largest aircraft in the Air Force; marvel at the flying USAF KC-46A Pegasus tanker, and watch as World War II-era crafts take flight in Tora! Tora! Tora!, the longest running civilian air show performance that recreates the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor with towering walls of flame.
The weekend’s festivities also open with the REMAX Skydive team’s 4,500-foot fall choreographed to the National Anthem, followed by a slate of performers that take to the skies on both days.
