Indus Arts Council presents the two-day inaugural Rūng Film Fest featuring original stories told through the lens of Pakistani filmmakers, writers, and actors from around the world.
Films will be presented in four separately ticketed film blocks—about three hours each—across two days, with 30-minute panel discussions following each one. A grand feature film screening, reception and awards presentation will cap off both days.
Featured filmmakers include Kashif Pasta (Desi Time Travel), Zarrar Kahn (In Flames, winner at Cannes Film Festival), and Rafay Rashdi (The Java Plum Tree). Explore the full list of participating filmmakers and check for updates.
With Rūng Film Fest, Indus Arts Council aims to create a platform that elevates voices often overlooked in mainstream cinema—creatives of color.
Admission
Tickets to each of the four film blocks are $15. Admission to the panels is free, with registration is required.
The Grand Feature screenings and receptions are $50 each.
