Experience larger-than-life entertainers from many genres when they take the main stage for 2024 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo concerts, from Tuesday, February 27 to Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Since beginning as the Houston Fat Stock Show in 1932, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo has grown to become the city’s bonafide signature event each year.
More than 2 million people filter through the gates around NRG Park for three weeks of agriculture, carnival entertainment, unexpected eats, rodeo competition and spectacular concerts from some of the biggest names in music.
We’ve gathered the Rodeo concert lineup for some of the city’s biggest shows of the year, including special themed nights and how you can score tickets to each show.
Whether you’re into country, hip-hop, pop, Norteño or EDM, this year’s lineup is sure to have something for everyone.
2024 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Concert Lineup
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
Wave 1 opens at 10am for concerts from Opening Night on Tuesday, February 27 through Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Wave 2 opens at 2pm for concerts from Friday, March 8 through Closing Night on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Rodeo Concert Performance Times
Tickets to each performance include access to the rodeo fairgrounds, which open at 8am, and concerts will follow each night’s rodeo competitions.
On weekdays, rodeo competitions start around 6:45pm, with concerts to follow around 9pm. And on weekends, expect rodeo to begin around 2:45pm, with concerts around 5pm.
Concerts can occur earlier or later depending on the competitions that precede the musical performance.

Week of Tuesday, February 27, 2024
- Opening Day: Blake Shelton at NRG Stadium | Tuesday, February 27 – The country music superstar and host of The Voice, Blake Shelton opens the 2024 Houston Rodeo with songs from his deep catalog of Grammy-nominated No. 1 hits. - Armed Forces Appreciation Day: Carly Pearce at NRG Stadium | Wednesday, February 28 – After recently notching a Grammy nomination for “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” alongside Ashley McBryde, the rising country star headlines Armed Forces Appreciation Day, where everyone is encouraged to don the red, white and blue and show appreciation for troops past and present. - For King & Country at NRG Stadium | Thursday, February 29 – The Christian pop duo returns to the Rodeo stage after marking their debut in 2022, bringing songs from their latest chart-topping release, What Are We Waiting For? - Black Heritage Day: 50 Cent at NRG Stadium | Friday, March 1 – A recent transplant to Houston, the highly decorated rapper debuts on Black Heritage Day with bars from his hit records, including his multi-platinum debut, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. - Hardy at NRG Stadium | Saturday, March 2 – Making his Rodeo debut, the country rocker brings tunes from his sophomore release, 2023’s The Mockingbird & the Crow. Tickets start at $25, but you may find hard-to-get seats using the online marketplace. 5pm.
- Iván Cornejo at NRG Stadium | Sunday, March 3 – A rising star in the regional Mexican genre, Cornejo makes his Rodeo Houston debut with songs from his first two albums, Alma Vacía and Dañado, as well as new tunes from a forthcoming release. Week of Monday, March 4, 2024
- First Responders Day: Hank Williams, Jr. at NRG Stadium | Monday, March 4 – On a day that honors firefighters, EMS, public law enforcement and other emergency services, the country legend returns to the Rodeo for the first time in more than 20 years. Expect to hear singalong favorites like “Family Tradition,” “A Country Boy Can Survive,” and other hits that have cemented his musical legacy. - Oliver Anthony at NRG Stadium | Tuesday, March 5 – The country folk singer exploded over the summer with his viral single “Rich Men North of Richmond,” and now will mark one of his biggest shows to date with a debut at the Houston Rodeo. - Community Day: Jelly Roll at NRG Stadium | Wednesday, March 6 – On a day of discounts for visitors to the Rodeo, the Grammy-nominated country rapper makes his highly anticipated debut, bringing his hit single “Son of a Sinner” and chart-topping summer album Whitsitt Chapel to the stage. - Volunteer Appreciation Day: Luke Bryan at NRG Stadium | Thursday, March 7 – This inaugural themed day at the Rodeo turns a spotlight on the unsung volunteers of the city’s major event, and will be headlined by country star Luke Bryan, who makes his 11th appearance on the rotating stage. - Major Lazer at NRG Stadium | Friday, March 8 – The EDM trio, which includes Diplo, Walshy Fire and Houston-native Ape Drums, makes their Rodeo debut with a blend of genres that touches on reggae and dancehall, soca, house and beyond. - Lainey Wilson at NRG Stadium | Saturday, March 9 – Recently crowned Entertainer of the Year at November’s CMAs, the rising country artist brings songs from her twice-awarded Album of the Year, Bell Bottom Country, to her Rodeo Houston debut. - Go Tejano Day: Los Tigres del Norte at NRG Stadium | Sunday, March 10 – The current Rodeo attendance record-holders, Los Tigres del Norte bring a legendary slate of award-winning norteño songs to the NRG stage, headlining the annual Go Tejano Day. - Whiskey Myers at NRG Stadium | Monday, March 11 – The Southern rock six-piece makes their Houston Rodeo debut, armed with their signature country sound found in their latest release, Tornillo. Tickets start at $25, but you may find hard-to-get seats using the online marketplace. 9pm.
- Bun B All-American Takeover at NRG Stadium | Tuesday, March 12 – The Houston rap legend is known to invite friends on stage for his hotly anticipated Rodeo shows, featuring past appearances from artists like Tobe Nwigwe, Scarface, Juvenile and Erykah Badu. No names have been announced for this year just yet, but expect the same kind of guest roster that makes for an annual Rodeo highlight since 2022. - Jonas Brothers at NRG Stadium | Friday, March 15 – After stopping by H-Town in October to perform all five of their albums in their entirety, the trio of brothers will return to the Houston Rodeo stage for the first time in more than a decade, playing an abbreviated setlist of the band’s biggest hits.
