Dress up in your steampunk finest (find your costume tips here) for the new Galveston Steampunk Festival happening at the Galveston Railroad Museum and Downtown Galveston on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday April 2, 2023.
The family-friendly Galveston Steampunk Festival is a two-day event celebrating the sci-fi subgenre that crosses Victorian-era style and industrialism with retrofuturism.
In addition to the main festival on Saturday, there will be special additional opportunities for tea on the train, driving tours in classic Model Ts, and walking ghost tours over the weekend.
Galveston Steampunk Festival 2023 Weekend Event Schedule
- Galveston Steampunk Festival Day | Saturday, April 1, 2023 – Throughout the first day, fans can take in live music and special performances; participate in a costume contest; shop at a curated vendor market; indulge at the beer, wine and food court; and enjoy games like archery, axe throwing and more. $35; $15 for ages 7 to 12. - Galveston Steampunk Tours | Sunday, April 2, 2023 – Guests can extend the fun and cruise through Victorian history tours of the Galveston area in classic Model T cars, plus join two evening walking ghost tours. Tours throughout the day from 1pm to 10pm. Order tickets or learn more.
