- Gary Owen at Houston Improv | Select dates from Thursday, December 2 to Sunday, December 12 – The beloved comic and host of the BET docu-series, The Gary Owen Show, spends a couple weekends in early December at the Improv of West Houston. Tickets start at $90 for a table of 2. Times vary.
- Bert Kreischer at Smart Financial Centre | Friday, December 3 – Most recently seen in his Netflix stand-up specials, Hey Big Boy and Secret Time, the comic and host of the weekly podcast, Bertcast, arrives in Sugar Land for a a one-night event. Tickets range from $39.75 to $79.75. 7:30pm.
- Taylor Tomlinson at UH Cullen Theater | Friday, December 3 – The University of Houston hosts the stand-up comedian who debuted her one-hour Netflix special, Quarter-Life Crisis, where she skewers the tropes of millennials, dating, and her devout religious upbringing. Tickets range from $26.75 to $36.75, with VIP options available. 7pm.
- Mick Foley at Houston Improv | Tuesday, December 14 – The legendary wrestler and five-time New York Times best-seller brings his irresistible charm, wit and wisdom to the stage for a night of “Tales From Wrestling Past,” Foley’s one-man, spoken-word stage show where he finds humor in the unlikeliest of places. Tickets range from $100 for a table of 4 to $450 for a preferred table of 6. 8pm.
- Lil Rel at Houston Improv | Wednesday, December 15 – From appearing in the Oscar-winning Get Out to roles in Space Jam 2, NBC’s Small Fortune, and his 2019 HBO special, Live in Crenshaw, the comedian and actor brings an all-new stand-up set to the Houston Improv for one-night-only. Tickets range from $60 for 2 to $180 for 6. 8pm.
- Rosebud Baker at Houston Improv | Thursday, December 16 – After releasing her first hour-long special this summer, Whiskey Fists, the stand-up comedian, actor and writer brings her insights on everything from relationships to her love of dogs over humans for a one-night performance at the Improv. Tickets range from $40 for a table of 2 to $150 for a table of 6. 8pm.
- Raanan Hershberg at Rudyard’s British Pub | Friday, December 17 & Saturday, December 18 – The touring comedian known for his chart-topping comedy album, Self-Helpless, arrives at Rudyard’s in Montrose for two nights of side-splitting laughter. Tickets start at $15, with reserved and VIP tables available. Friday 7:30pm; Saturday 7:30pm and 10pm.
- Joe List & Sarah Tollemache at the Secret Group | Wednesday, December 22 – This double bill at the EaDo comedy club sees New York City-based comedians Joe List and Sarah Tollemache bring their sets of hilarity that’s been featured on The Late Show, Comedy Central and Netflix’s The Stand Ups. Tickets are $20. 8pm.
- Sal Vulcano & Chris Distefano at Smart Financial Centre | Tuesday, December 28 – The Sugar Land venue hosts both stand-up comedians, who together host the Hey Babe! podcast, for a night of high hilarity. Tickets range from $39.75 to $75. 7pm.
- New Year’s Comedy Laugh Fest, featuring Bruce Bruce, D.L. Hughley, Eddie Griffin, Nephew Tommy, Earthquake at Smart Financial Centre | Friday, December 31 – Send 2021 off with a night of nonstop laughter when some of the biggest comedians come to Sugar Land for an uproarious New Year’s Eve event. Tickets range from $59 to more than $200. 8pm.
