- Free Admission for First Responders & Their Families at Lone Star Flight Museum | Saturday, September 11 & Sunday, September 12 – Commemorate the 20th anniversary weekend of September 11, 2001 while taking advantage of free admission to all first responders and their families and checking out the new commemorative exhibit Never Forget: Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 which honors the 2,977 people killed in the terrorist attacks. The exhibit will be available for viewing with regular museum admission through Sunday, January 2, 2022. Admission is free to first responders and their families including access to the museum’s aircraft and permanent exhibits. - Apollo Chamber Players presents With Malice Toward None at MATCH | Saturday, September 11 – Mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11, and the season opener for Apollo Chamber Players, with the world premiere of With Malice Toward None, a story by Vietnam veteran and Composer J. Kimo Williams that weaves together the enlightenment philosophies of Ludwig van Beethoven and President Lincoln, at MATCH in Midtown. $35 in advance; $40 at the door; $10 for students at the door with valid ID. Tickets for first responders, teachers and veterans are $25 in advance; $30 at the door. 7:30pm.
