- Escape: A Love Street Psychedelic Trip Out Night at Johnny’s Gold Brick | FREE to Attend – Celebrate the sights and sounds of the 1960s with trippy tunes, kaleidoscopic cocktails and more during this Psychedelic night at Johnny’s Gold Brick. Must be 21 or older to attend. 8pm.
- Chayanne in Concert at Toyota Center – Puerto Rican superstar Chayanne returns to Houston, bringing his electrifying choreography with him. The tour is supporting his new album En Todo Estaré. - Clays for a Cure Challenge at American Shooting Center – Start the morning with a safety meeting, coffee and donuts, then take your aim as the sporting clay shooting challenge begins. After the tournament, guests will enjoy a barbecue lunch, raffle and awards. Proceeds from this event benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. 8:30am to 3pm.
- Little Art Adventures at MFAH | FREE – Bring your child – aged 3 to 5 – to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston for a creative hour learning about the elements of art, coloring and making an art project and walking around the galleries. Free with museum admission. 10:30am to 11:30am.
- Bats on the Bayou at Watonga Park – Participate in bat-themed activities, learn about the animals and then watch them emerge from the Watonga Boulevard Bridge during this event hosted by the Houston Parks Board. Blankets, lawn chairs and bug spray are encouraged. 6:30pm.
