  • Blanket Bingo at Market Square Park – Lounge out on lawn chairs or blankets while enjoying a historic night out filled with music, fun and bingo. Admission includes a packet of bingo cards which are good for about ten games. $10. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Helpie Hour at the Houston Food Bank | FREE to Attend – Give back to the community by volunteering your time during the f.r.e.s.h. young professionals’ helpie hour. Stick around for complimentary dinner and drinks. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Argentine Tango Lesson at Discovery Green | FREE – Learn the fundamentals of the Argentine Tango during this beginner class at Discovery Green. No experience necessary to take part in the class. 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
  • American Idol Live! at Bayou Music Center – Hear a concert from the top 5 finalists from season 14 of American Idol when their national tour lands at Bayou Music Center. Tickets start at $24.50 including ticket fees, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork or Ticket Monster’s resale sites. 7:30pm.
  • Driving Miss Daisy at Stages Repertory Theatre – See the warmhearted, humorous play about an unlikely friendship. $35 to $38; limited discounted $17.50 to $19 tickets available. 7:30pm.
  • Rocky Votolato & Dave Hause in Concert at Fitzgerald’s – Solo performers Rocky Votolato and Dave Hause, along with opener Chris Farren, will take the stage at Fitzgerald’s in The Heights. $12 in advance; $16 at the door. 8pm.
  • Bakermat in Concert at Stereo Live – Dutch producer Bakermat will fill Stereo Live with jazz and soul influenced electronic music during this performance. Free to attend with RSVP; $5 for express entry. 9pm.
