Celebrate the launch of low cost animal services clinic Emancipet at Ripley House in Houston’s East End on Saturday, June 6, 2015.

Emancipet – the low cost veterinary care and spay/neuter clinic that started in Austin – is bringing their services to Houston.

Celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of their mobile clinic at Ripley House during this free event with music, food and fun for the whole family – those with four legs included.

Bring the kiddos for face painting, balloon animals, and crafts like screen-printing bandanas and make-your-own dog tags.

Your furry friend will enjoy treats from the Natural Pawz Treat Truck and owners can make appointments for Emancipet’s low-cost services at the event.

Enjoy bites from local trucks Good Dog Hot Dog and The Waffle Bus, gelato sandwiches from RICCA and refreshments from Whole Foods.

Houston’s own Jawad will play and the Fly Boys dance troupe will entertain guests with a hip-hop performance. You’ll also hear from Mayor Annise Parker, City Council members Robert Gallegos, Oliver Pennington and Ed Gonzalez, ASPCA President and CEO Matthew E. Bershadker and Emancipet CEO Amy Mills.
