Every third Saturday, Houston’s popular evening market returns to Discovery Green, in the southeast corner of the park. It’s not simply a flea market (though it’s that too). It also features an array of goods including new art, kitsch, vintage items, mid-century modern furniture, recycled and repurposed items and collectibles. The people watching will be pretty good too.
You can also plan to grab a bite from among some of Houston’s most popular food trucks. Not sure if the vendors will be to your liking? You can read up on a partial list of vendors right here on the Discovery Green website, but we encourage you to take a date, the family, your dog and explore the market. In a few short weeks, this amazing weather will be a distant memory.
