Grab hot and spicy bowls of chili at the 5th Annual Houston Kosher Chili Cook-Off at Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center, Saturday, March 7, 2015.

Supporting local non-profits, this yearly chili competition brings together some of Houston’s best chefs as they dish up hearty bowls of meaty chili goodness. For just $10 ($6 for the kids), attendees can sample from steamy pots of savory chili, be entertained by live music, and let the little ones free with kid-friendly activities. The cook-off will also feature a jalapeno eating contest and silent auction, as well as craft beer from Schmaltz Brewing and Bloody Mary’s.
