Holiday shopping season is made easier at Sugar Land Town Square with a full slate of events that aim to keep shoppers gleaming with holiday cheer.
Throughout the holiday season, shoppers at Sugar Land Town Square can join in on festivities including special lighting celebrations of the Tree and Menorah, holiday movie screenings, musical performances, a colorful dance showcase, free photos with Santa, and more.
From Altar’d State and JoS. A. Bank, to Sur La Table, Baby’s & Kid’s 1st, and everywhere in between, shoppers will find plenty of shelves to scour for the perfect holiday gift.

Snapshots with Santa
Presented by Imperial Sugar, free holiday photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus will take place in the lobby of 16190 City Walk on each Sunday from 1pm to 5pm, beginning Sunday, November 25 through Sunday, December 16, 2018.
An on-site donation drive will be collecting new stuffed animals for the Fort Bend Rainbow Room’s Christmas Project.

- Holidays in the Plaza with Chris Mitchell Jazz | Friday, November 16 | 6:30pm to 8:30pm –The versatile saxophonist, Chris Mitchell, brings his smooth jazz stylings to Sugar Land Town Square for a performance of beautiful holiday music.
- Soccer Shots Houston Introductory Classes | Saturday, November 17 | 3pm to 5pm – Tailored for children ages 3 to 5, these free 20-minute introductory classes help children get active with the engaging Soccer Shots program that emphasizes character development. - Holidays in the Plaza with Living Rhythms | Saturday, November 17 | 6:30pm to 8:30pm – An accomplished Houston-based Jazz group led by trumpeter Eddie Lewis, Living Rhythms brings festive favorites to the stage at Sugar Land Town Square.
- Shop Small Saturday | Saturday, November 24 | All Day – As part of American Express’ Small Business Saturday, shoppers across the nation are encouraged to visit their local stores and restaurants in their communities, creating a great opportunity to do good with your holiday shopping lists.
- City of Sugar Land’s Christmas Tree Lighting | Friday, November 30 | 5pm to 8pm – This special event celebrates the lighting of Sugar Land’s Christmas tree, and includes appearances by Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Free and open to the public, this event offers holiday crafts and activities, face painting, photos with Santa, and performances by local artists and choirs.

- Holidays in the Plaza with Houston Show Choir | Saturday, December 1 | 5pm to 7pm – A remarkable end-of-season repertoire will have shoppers swaying to classic carols and special performances by small singing groups from the Houston Show Choir.
- Giant Menorah Lighting Celebration | Monday, December 3 | 6:30pm to 8pm – Celebrating Chanukah, the lighting of the giant menorah with Chabad of Sugar Land promises fun festivities and activities including arts and crafts for children, Israeli food, performances, music, and dancing.
- Holidays in the Plaza with Heart & Soul Ensemble | Friday, December 7 | 6:30pm to 8:30pm – The powerful all-female vocal group brings talent and a fun-filled holiday performance to shoppers at Sugar Land Town Square.
- Holiday Dance Showcase | Saturday, December 8 | 11am to 4pm – A full slate of local dance companies offer a special holiday dance showcase.
- Holiday Movie Under the Moon: Elf | Saturday, December 8 | 7pm to 9pm – Bring family, friends, and lawn chairs to this Sugar Land Town Square holiday tradition. This year, the 2003 Will Ferrell comedy, Elf, promises to delight movie-goers while candy canes are handed out by Santa’s little helpers.
- Holidays in the Plaza with Travis High School Orchestra | Thursday, December 13 | 6:30pm to 8:30pm – The Travis High School Orchestra takes the stage to perform favorite holiday tunes.
