- The Book of Mormon | Sunday, February 1 through Sunday, February 8 – See the nine time Tony award-winning musical The Book of Mormon as it continues its run at the Hobby Center. The crowd-pleasing show was created by the controversial but talented Trey Parker and Matt Stone, along with co-creator of Avenue Q Robert Lopez, and has been called “the best musical of this century” by The New York Times.
- Mardi Gras in Galveston | Friday, February 6 to Tuesday, February 17 – Laissez les bon temps roulez at the annual Mardi Gras celebration that takes over the historic strand district of Galveston. - H-Town Chili Throwdown | Saturday, February 7 – Wash chili samples down with beer and whiskey at this annual competition at Onion Creek. Guests vote for the people’s choice winner, compete in a corn hole tournament and have the opportunity to sample items from the Yellow Rose Bourbon cocktail contest.
