Marvel at elaborate holiday lights, outdoor entertainment and more at  MainStreet America’s Christmas on MainStreet event, featuring the 2nd Annual Lights of Hope charity lighting competition, happening every Saturday this holiday season from Saturday, November 26 through Saturday, December 17, 2016.

Twinkling lights, snow, and a flurry of holiday family fun are forecast for MainStreet America on select Saturdays this holiday season.

Following its debut last year, the Lights of Hope charity lighting competition is returning to MainStreet America as part of Christmas on MainStreet, which features evening snow flurries, train rides, entertainment, outdoor lights synchronized to music, visits with Santa, and more.

Holiday Lights Competition

9 of the MainStreet America’s 12 designer showcase homes will be decked out for the holiday, each decorated by a different Houston-area nonprofit organization.

Supporting your favorite charity or home decor is easy. Simply tour the homes and cast your vote with a $1 donation. Donations all go to the nonprofit, and the most popular lighting display will receive $10,000 after the final night of Lights of Hope.

Guests can also sipping cocoa at an roaring outdoor fire, as lights are synchronized to the music, and join in the Reindeer Games for a chance to win some stunning prizes.
