- UNICEF USA’s Heart Strings: Creating Connection to the World’s Children at Post Houston | Daily – This multi-sensory exhibition, on view through April 7, invites guests of all ages to travel the globe in just 45 minutes through the universal language of music. - Opening Weekend: Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees at Minute Maid Park | Daily – A new coach, a few new faces and the return of several beloved players makes for the start of a new season when the Astros take on familiar foes in the Yankees across four days of Opening Weekend baseball. $29 and up. - Madonna & Moet Pre-Concert Party at a’Bouzy | Thursday & Friday | No Cover – Celebrate in style and dress in your finest Madonna fashion with a costume contest, champagne specials, and themed food and cocktails before heading out to the big show. Times vary.
- Madonna in Concert at Toyota Center | Thursday & Friday – The iconic performer does her magic once again in a not-to-be-missed concert with spectacular dancing and all your old favorites with Madonna’s signature flair and dramatics. $98 and up. 8:30pm.
- Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Moody Gardens | Friday & Saturday – The Easter Bunny is waiting for you in Galveston for a fantastic breakfast, train ride, animal show and more ahead of Easter Sunday. $38.80; $25.87 for ages 2 to 12. Times vary.
- Easter Fest at P-6 Farms | Friday & Saturday – The Montgomery farm will again host an Easter celebration with vintage amusement rides, fun farm attractions, and photos with the Easter Bunny. $10.95 and up. 10am to 5pm.
- Easter Scramble at the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park | Friday & Saturday – Bring your empty Easter basket to the Woodlands for a beloved Easter pastime for all ages. $20 per child. Hunts at 1pm and 3pm both days.
- Houston Symphony presents Romeo & Juliet + Dvořák’s Cello Concerto at Jones Hall | Friday & Saturday – Enjoy the most famous love story ever written, as told through the universal language of music, with Dorothy Chang and Principal Cellist Brinton Averil Smith performing one of classical music’s most popular cello concertos. $36 and up. 8pm.
- Easter Weekend at Kemah Boardwalk | Friday to Sunday – It’s a weekend of Easter celebrations including a candy hop, pictures with everyone’s favorite bunny, kids’ crafts, a balloon artist, and a SONrise service on Sunday morning at 7am. Times vary.
- Easter Egg Market at 8th Wonder Brewery | Saturday & Sunday | FREE – In EaDo, 8th Wonder hosts a weekend of Easter fun with a pop-up market filled with local businesses, plus a Sunday Easter Egg Hunt (1pm, 3pm and 5pm). Swing by to shop everything from Easter cookies to planters and more, plus enjoy tunes from live DJs. Noon to 8pm.
- Stagolee & the Funeral of a Dangerous Word at Main Street Theater | Saturday & Sunday | Ongoing – The newest work from nationally-recognized Houston playwright Thomas Meloncon takes the stage for a three-week run. The play explores different points of view along the racial divide, telling the story of a small-town Texas NAACP chapter planning a funeral for “the N-word.” Meanwhile, a bigoted White man and a Black man named Stagolee are about to embark on a court-ordered intervention facilitated by a Jewish psychologist. This production runs through Sunday, April 21. $35 and up. Saturday 7:30pm; Sunday 3pm.
