- ALDS Games 1 & 2: Houston Astros vs. Seattle Mariners at Minute Maid Park | Tuesday, October 11 & Thursday, October 13 – Facing the Mariners fresh off an exciting weekend Wild Card series, the Astros kick off a new playoff run, hosting the first two games of the ALDS in Downtown. Eatery and lunch by Ragin’ Cajun. Registration starts at $2,500 for a team of 4. 8am.
- ChildAdvocates Superhero Run at CityCentre | Saturday, October 15 – This annual run through CityCentre encourages participants to don their favorite superhero contest and set out on a 5K, all while fundraising for Child Advocates, an organization that helps provide support, medical and mental help to children in the foster system. Registration is $35 for the 5K; $20 for the Kids K. 8am to 10am.
