Pounce into the Year of the Tiger at the free, family-friendly 2022 Lunar New Year Festival at the Chinese Community Center on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

As the Lunar Calendar rolls into another year, the Chinese Community Center welcomes all to a free, family-friendly celebration of the newly arrived Year of the Tiger at its official 2022 Lunar New Year Festival.

An annual tradition in Asiatown since 2003, the festival celebrates both the Lunar New Year and the beauty of Houston’s vast cultural diversity.

There will be live performances—including dragon and lion dances—food trucks, a vendor market, photo ops, special Lunar New Year merchandise, and more.

Food trucks and vendors on site will include Foreign Policy Food Truck, Seoulside Wings, B&B Concession, Mama Marie’s Filipino Soul Food, GO GO Ice, Kona Ice of Houston, Travelin Tom’s Coffee, Mox Roasters, and the CCC Parent-Teacher Organization.

This year, the Festival will also kick off a series of exciting Asian Heritage seasonal programs that will highlight the culinary delights, artistic wonders, and ancient traditions of Asian cultures.
