Sip on savory drinks steeped with CBD, Delta-8, and more at Segundo Coffee Lab at Ironworks in East End.

On Milby Street, you’ll find one of the most recent additions to Houston’s coffee scene, providing one-of-a-kind caffeinated concoctions infused with the wellness benefits of CBD, as well as THC and Delta-8.

Segundo Coffee Lab, from the husband-and-wife team of Martha and Manuel Gil, offers a menu of coffee drinks with a range of syrups and additions, plus signature drinks like the 713 Taro con Leche, Thai Especial (a Thai milk-based tea with a shot of espresso) and La Mexicana—a cinnamon-based honey vanilla latte.

More than just coffee, you can also pick up pastries, breakfast goodies, and delicious handmade, small-batch tacos from Doña Licha, a local family-owned business that drops them off fresh in the morning.

Keep an eye out on their social media for weekly events like $2 Tuesdays with discounted tacos and beer from 5pm to 9pm, or other special gatherings that take place at the Ironworks building.

More at Ironworks

Originally known as the Cameron Iron Works building, a manufacturing space from the 1920s, Ironworks has been transformed by using the modular design of shipping containers to create a hub for local businesses and workspaces.

Alongside professional offices, you can also find Segundo Lab next to the coffeeshop, which provides CBD, THC, and Delta-8 products, vintage and recycled apparel at Cargo, and Shop Local, which hosts weekly Saturday morning markets at the industrial-style space.
