Help support the local artist community and a beloved studio space when you shop Insomnia Gallery online and in-person at the monthly Punk Rock Garage Sale at Brash Brewing.

Well known for an eclectic slate of gallery events and art show parties, Insomnia Gallery celebrates its 10th year as a gathering spot for local artists, studios and small businesses that sell their wares at popular events.

But the art space has had to weather the global pandemic as best it can. In October 2020, Insomnia shuttered its vinyl spot, Deep End Records, and more recently have closed the Telephone Road gallery space as it scales back to survive until some normalcy returns to our lives.

Now, Insomnia Gallery is asking for help from the community to make it through this phase of the pandemic so that its signature shows and events can return. If you’d like to help out, there are a few ways for you to show your support while helping local artists continue their projects.

Shop Online & In-Person

Visit Insomnia Gallery’s online store, where you’ll find books, resin figures, artwork, and t-shirts, including limited monthly runs that feature designs by local artists where you’ll have to act quick to cop before they’re gone forever.

You can also swing by their Hardy & Nance Studio space just north of Downtown on select days of the week (check Insomnia Gallery’s website for availability), where you’ll find a larger selection of artwork, prints, figures and more.

Not sure what to grab but still want to support? Snag a gift card for $25 to $100, which never expire and can be redeemed for art and merchandise at Insomnia Gallery.

Shop pop culture at the Punk Rock Garage Sale

Insomnia Gallery has also found success in putting on the monthly Punk Rock Garage Sale at Brash Brewing in Independence Heights.

There, you’ll find dozens of vendors dealing in vintage music, movies, pop culture memorabilia, local artwork, and more, where all kinds of tastes are represented. The next Garage Sale takes place on Sunday, April 25 from 1pm to 5pm.
