- Urban Harvest Farmers Market on Buffalo Speedway | No Cover – An inner Loop mainstay, Urban Harvest’s open-air farmers market features more than 70 local vendors and food producers. The market also offers a drive-through service for guests who place orders in advance. 8am to 12:30pm.
- Peach Street Farmers Market in Angleton | No Cover – Shop for fresh produce, meats, foodstuffs, jams, honey, handcrafted goods and more in a warm and friendly open-air farmers market. Food for lunch is usually available for purchase on site. 9am to 1pm.
- Harris County Public Library presents Mad Science: Special Event Show | FREE – Experiment with air molecules, water properties, and chemistry when Harris County Public Library hosts their virtual Mad Science event. This event will be held online on Harris County Public Library’s Facebook Page. 11am to 11pm.
- Market at the MarqE Entertainment Center | No Cover – The Marq’E Entertainment Center offers a weekly local market experience designed for families, featuring a wide variety of vendors, artisans, and more. The weekly event features live music and kids activities like face painting. Noon to 5pm.
- CAMH presents Virtual Drop-In Experience: Field Meditation | FREE – Inspired by the creative process of FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), the Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston (CAMH) explores how the sounds and sights of the outdoors can inspire the creation of original work of art. 1pm.
- Houston Arboretum & Nature Center presents Virtual Blackberry Celebration on Zoom – Get introduced to wild and cultivated blackberries, and prepare six jars of delicious blackberry freezer jam. Supplies must be picked up Thursday or Friday and include berries, sugar, pectin, and canning jars. Ages 13 and up. 1pm and 3:30pm. $35; $20 for members.
- Writespace presents Technical Writing: Creating a User Guide via Google Classroom and Zoom – The workshop explores the basics of good fiction, plot, character, dialogue, and setting. $160; $140 for members. 2pm.
- Galveston Historical Foundation presents Galveston in the Rage of Postcards Online Presentation on Facebook Live | FREE – In a profusely illustrated Facebook Live Lecture, Galveston native Richard Eisenhour will present new research about the island city’s role in Texas tourist cultural history. 2pm.
- Parker Williams Branch Library presents Overcoming Stress & Anxiety Through Meditation on Facebook Live | FREE – Daya Sharma, software engineer, and biotechnology researcher teaches a simple meditation technique to increase personal well-being. 3pm.
- Summer Nature Nights at Edith Moore Nature Sanctuary – Head to the Edith Moore Nature Sanctuary for their new summer family nature exploration series. 20 for adults; $15 for children. 6pm.
- McGonigel’s Mucky Duck presents Shake Russell on Facebook Live | FREE – Catch a free show from the Austin-based, Americana singer-songwriter online. 7:30pm.
- Summer Movie Nights: Disney’s Frozen II Movie Screening at Redemption Square | FREE – Catch an outdoor screening of the blockbuster sequel to that reveals what happens to Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf after the happily ever after that ended the original Frozen. 8pm.
- Houston Symphony presents Live from Jones Hall: Bach, Price & Janáček Online – Concertmaster Yoonshin Song leads a live stream performance of J.S. Bach’s beloved Brandenburg Concerto No. 1, alongside sparkling music of trailblazing composer Florence Price. A dedicated link to watch live will be provided with ticket purchase. $10. 8pm.

- Blood Drive at Gringo’s Spring – Gringo’s Tex-Mex restaurant in Spring partners with Commit For Life for a blood drive. Anyone who donates will receive a $10 Gringo’s Gift Card, a Commit for Life beach towel and donors will receive a free COVID-19 antibody test. An appointment is required. 10am to 3pm.
- NWSL Challenge Cup: Houston Dash vs. Washington Spirit on CBS All Access | FREE 7-Day Trial – Cheer on H-Town’s professional women’s soccer team as they battle the Washington Spirit live, concluding the their first round in the Utah 2020 Challenge Cup. A free seven-day trial is available. 11:30am to 1:30pm.
