Snap a photo in front of the pastel patterned dreamscape that is The Abstract Happy Beach Wall.

Located in the heart of EaDo at 800 Chartres Street, The Abstract Happy Beach Wall and its organic soft, bright, and warm colors were created in honor of the 2015 HUE Mural Fest.

The creation of married duo Zosen Bandido (@zosenbandido)and Mina Hamada (@mina_hamada), both of the Barcelona-based artists specialize in murals that feature colorful, interlocking shapes –and as you’d imagine, the couple collaborates quite frequently.

Both artist’s work can be found on the streets and in galleries around the world, as well as on prints, illustrations, ceramics, and even streetwear.

Before You Visit

Visitors should note, this mural is facing a paid parking lot, and the wall view may be partially obstructed by parked vehicles.

Also, budding photogs should note that this is a busy area at times. Use general good judgment when visiting and when considering what hours to visit.

While you’re there, be sure to check out other area favorites and must-dos. There are plenty of other murals, bars, restaurants, breweries and more, just waiting to be discovered around the corner.
